This morning I received the link for Charlotte Gainsbourg's "Heaven can wait", and I really think this album is the best she has ever done,her voice is much more confident .The girl is really lucky ,on the last album I remember reading that she tried to write her own words but she could not do it so she rang Jarvis Cocker and asked for some help !
You think right anyone could do well in these terms but the truth is there is something special,the charm I guess of those genes.Like her mother maybe she is the perfect muse , the movies she made with Yvan Attal are among my favourites and here with Beck they have created something really unique,made to measure,so the charm is working more than ever!The video of "Heaven can wait" is really perfect as well ...Beck seems to be the perfect choice .I can't wait to discover the CD .

It is also nice for a change to see someone who seems humble, soft spoken and at the same time very confident and adventurous in her artistic choices to have such a following, so even though she can be irritating in the way that her family opened so many doors and made her an icon from day 1,she was brave enough to take the time to become her own person and explore many sides of her personality.
I am sold.
I love Charlotte !

I really like her. She's very popular in France because she's style and yet very simple, even kind of shy. And she's the daughter of a famous couple too!
